HERCEGKÚT

Allow us to guide you to a small village in the Zemplén region!

Götz Winery is located in the Swabian village of Hercegkút, just about 3 kilometers from Sárospatak. Settlement in the village began in the 1750s, and the village was originally named Trautsondorf. A faluban két pincesor is megtalálható, a Kőporosi és a Gombos-hegyi, mindkettő a világörökség részét képezi.

Hercegkút is becoming increasingly popular among tourists, as it is home to our Swabian Folk House, which preserves old traditions. Before the wine tasting, it’s worth taking a walk up to the Calvary on Gombos Hill, where visitors are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view.

The village is Roman Catholic, and our church was built in the 18th century. There are also various accommodation options available to suit every need.
