    Götz Tokaji Aszú 6 puttonyos

It is a wine specialty produced from carefully picked raisins.
In Tokaj-Hegyalja, the so-called Botrytis Cinerea mould gives rise to fermentation, practically drying up the over-ripened grapes.
This wine owes its exceptional quality not only to its high sugar content but also to its outstanding acidity, which creates a perfect balance. Early autumn rains followed by dry, sunny days in October provide the ideal conditions for these grapes. The 2002 vintage is considered an excellent year in the Tokaj-Hegyalja region.
This wine was aged in oak barrels using an oxidative process, in keeping with traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are processed by our family estate — from hand-harvesting into trays and destemming, to gentle pneumatic pressing and careful handling, we carry out every step ourselves.
Our vineyards are located in first-class slopes with red clay soils, where the grapes are not only naturally shriveled but also fully covered with noble rot (Botrytis cinerea).
During the aszú winemaking process, we do not remove the wine's essence — instead, we age it together with it. The result is an exceptionally harmonious wine that combines elegance with power.
Its color, flavor, and aroma embody the elegance of the finest noble drinks.
