Eszencia

This special wine was made from grapes that shriveled on the vine under the influence of Botrytis cinerea, or noble rot, and were individually hand-picked during harvest. The 2017 vintage was exceptionally favorable: we were able to harvest berries of outstanding quality, fully infused with botrytis. These grapes yielded a dense, almost creamy must extracted solely by their own weight, without pressing — forming the base of this wine.

This wine is truly exceptional due to its high mineral and sugar content, along with the rich aromatic profile characteristic of aszú berries. It is an extremely complex yet harmonious wine that reveals the unique character of the region in remarkable depth. Its color is a vibrant golden yellow, and its flavor unfolds with pure, intense fruitiness and impressively rich botrytis notes.
